ABOUT IMGA
The Independent Medical Group Alliance (IMGA) is a growing community of fiercely independent medical groups united by a shared conviction: that independence, not consolidation, is the future of high-performing healthcare. IMGA brings together leading practices committed to preserving autonomy, accelerating growth, and delivering a level of care that centralized health systems cannot replicate.
Formed in 2024 by thirteen of the nation’s most established and respected independent medical groups, IMGA was created to fill a critical gap: an organization dedicated exclusively to advancing physician-owned, physician-led practices. By combining scale with independence, IMGA enables its members to compete more effectively while maintaining local control and physician leadership.
Built on collaboration, innovation, and shared expertise, IMGA members are creating a high-performance network designed to:

Membership officially opened in 2025 with the Inaugural IMGA Annual Forum at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, convening independent medical leaders from across the country committed to shaping the future of physician-led care. Practices aligned with this vision are invited to join this alliance and set the standard for the next era of independent medicine.
