HeadStart Partners
The IMGA Steering Committee has initiated partnerships with key collaborators whose expertise and achievements have significantly advanced the efforts in forming. Their contributions are further detailed in the cornerstone descriptions.

Glenn Sumner (Co-founder, The OrthoForum)
Glenn, a longtime CEO of a large orthopedic group, was instrumental in growing The OrthoForum from 12 independent orthopedic practices to over 100. His expertise in strategic growth and advocacy has made him a valuable advisor to IMGA.

Mike McCaslin (Managing Director, CBIZ Somerset)
Mike, an accounting and practice management consultant serving healthcare clients nationwide, developed a highly effective benchmarking program for over 100 orthopedic groups, using data collected exclusively from members. He is committed to bringing that same level of success to IMGA.

The Congress of Physician-Owned Medical Properties (CPOMP)
Made up of independent medical groups that own or plan to own their practice real estate, CPOMP has built a highly effective platform for education and networking between physicians and C-level executives. In support of IMGA, CPOMP is providing access to premier meeting facilities.

CMAC Partners
CMAC’s mission is to strengthen independent practices through physician-owned real estate. In working closely with clients, CMAC recognized a growing need—especially among independent multispecialty groups—for an organization solely focused on supporting their independence. CMAC has committed to underwriting the inaugural IMGA annual meeting, designed to foster collaboration and advance the interests of independent practices.

Stratum Med
Stratum Med is a medical group collaborative comprised of 21 leading physician-owned multi-specialty group practices, with partnerships extending to more than 150 additional medical groups across the country. Collectively, they represent over 13,000 physicians nationwide. At its core, Stratum Med fosters a network of transparent collaboration and shared learning that drive best in class services and innovation advancement. In addition, they leverage collective volume to achieve cost savings and develop programs that meet the needs of medical groups and preserve physician independence.
